Fractal Cats
by Meg Smith
They breathe, sleep, dance
through dimensions of space:
spirals and doorways,
in a house otherwise asleep.
In their eyes,
galaxies reveal themselves
in a front hall's light.
No star, no stone,
no dark matter defers
their path, a thing of knowing,
as only they know.
