Purple Planet

by David Fox

On the purple planet
The inhabitants only eat
Eggplants, grapes and plums
They all look the same
A cross between "Grimace" from McDonald's
and "Grape Ape" from the old cartoons
Violets, lilacs and lavender are the only plants there
How boring it would be to live on such a planet
When God created an array of beautiful colors!
