In This Floating Mega City
by Petrouchka Alexieva
In this intergalactic mega city,
that floats through another Milky Way,
I found my way to see the hundreds of planets
and stars passing by on my holographic display.
I see them like human species. Each one
has a heart pulsing inside of their core.
Each one has a beautiful body
twirling and dancing in galactic waltz.
Some planets cover their faces
with mistic vails of floating clouds
and enjoy the kisses of its cosmic rain.
Others attract spinning meteorites in delight;
burst happy volcanoes and ash in love
with their moons. Planets greet
fancy comets that pass them by,
say “hello” and whisper “good bye”.
They cover with cape of galactic dust
dry veins of rivers that used to run in the past;
they cure hundreds of wounds of hitting compacts.
They know how to heal by spinning the time.
Like humans, they tango in pairs. They clash,
make allies of mystical galaxies and majestic clusters.
In their nebula-built neighborhoods
they share events and handle all galactic disasters.
Stars have spectacular birthdays and one day,
they die, just like us… But for now, in this stellar mega city
floating through another Milky Way,
I enjoy their magnificent intergalactic display.
