The Crowded Bedroom
by Gary Davis
Up late bingeing horror shows,
I drift to sleep at midnight.
Hours pass, I start seeing things,
strange visions of death and fright.
Creatures swirl through a parallel space,
ethereal demons and likewise.
Slowly I begin to stir,
as dawn pries open my eyes.
Then I hear eerie hushed noises
coming straight from under my bed.
Sometime before I woke up,
someone else woke up the dead.
