Interdimensional

by Kenneth Vincent Walker

The life-form which
We've encountered
Is strictly inorganic
In nature and it has

No distinguishable
Nor similar traits to
The human race that
We may compare it

With. However, there
Seems to be a definite
Intelligence, perhaps
Even more superior to

Our own, apparently
Materializing before
Our very eyes via an
Interdimensional portal

Not from some distant
Planet, as we had first
Suspected, but rather an
Alternate vibration that

Allows time intersection;
Mysteriously reappearing
Then disappearing within
The cloak of secrecy as

Earth shares their abode.

Kenneth Vincent Walker is a "New Formalist" poet, spoken word artist, performer and author of Borderline Absurd (An Exercise in Rhyme and Reason), published by Poem Sugar Press/ Community Arts Ink, 2015, and available on Amazon. Also he is published in numerous online magazines, journals and blogs.

Kenneth has been labeled a "wordsmith" and has read, recited and performed his eloquent and eclectic brand of poetry reminiscent of the Golden Age and the Romantic Era with a Beatnik to modern sensibility and twist at coffeehouses, bookstores and outdoor festivals throughout the Mid-Atlantic region of the United States.

Lastly, Kenneth's voice may be heard on Spotify in his short yet chilling podcasts of 'Noir Poetry' set to music exhibiting a darker side highly influenced by The Twilight Zone, Alfred Hitchcock and the writings of the immortal Edgar Allan Poe.
