Space Flowers
by Meg Smith
Something reaches,
but not for air; stars and stars
in a darkness
only imagined.
Still, it remains my dream,
on Earth, and somewhere: Green, and sure, and ready
to blaze, to bloom, a sun on fire,
with the promise to grow again.
