The Pursuit Of Zombies

(a found poem)

it should come as no surprise that zombies
make up the biggest part of what was man
model depicts what's widely reported
starts high with the dumb, goes low with the wise
steadily climbing as deaths continue
when asked about the best time while they’re dead
the study shows that answers don't vary
low optimism equates fulfillment
they don't look forward to anything new
they love to watch the living… a whole bunch
it's just the only thing they love to do
well, besides what they love to do after
their ultimate pursuit for happiness
…studies also show that victims are slow
