The reason the police always
Try to get a Confession
Is because Evil wants to confess-
Like the Ring of Sauron
Evil wants to be found;
Evil wants to be caught.
Serial killers want to
Boast of their crimes to someone,
And like the narrator of
"The Tell Tale Heart,"
Most of us can't
Stomach the guilt-
