The Sun, From Pluto

by Meg Smith
For Stephen Damon-Tilley

I'm looking for that lonely
drop of light flung furthest
in the sky of night and frost.
Still, I praise other lights — a half-moon
abiding the Styx,
and stones like sisters,
ellipse of familiar dust.
