Meditations on Good and Evil

by Jean Jones

Ourselves alone

I try to do right
here, where nothing is certain,
What makes us do right?

Origins of Evil

Like anything else,
It comes down to what you choose,
And what you decide.

Because they want to

People have asked me
Why people hurt each other?
Easy-They want to.

The equation so hard to understand

God is all knowing,
God is all powerful, yet
Good people suffer.
