Inside An Alien's Alien Perspective

by Robin B. Lipinski

Sight forward while looking inside
Across the surface resides a watery plain
Winds driving vessels of wood and canvas

From depths leap a mouth full of scale covered creatures
Devouring, splashing, leaving the surface serene
Above the waves winged creatures glide and scream

Darkness of the planet's shadow shows
Moonlight glow
So many inhabitants of the land masses

Finally, reality takes control as the sight gains focus
Aiming the particle beam
Obliterating all of the many forms of life species
on a low grade
mineral bearing
planet
the past inhabitants called,
Earth.

Boom!

the end
