Hunter's Moon
by Meg Smith
The tides ripple,
and nothing
caught
in its net of long fingers.
This light of stone
will still summon the pull.
Everyone comes forth —
fox, shark, the silver
of gulls.
This stone, too,
is seeking,
and drawing out
their bloodless call.
