Meteorite

by Sebastian Popescu

Comet, fast at last, Here!
Hidden from the storm,
Fires in the House of Glory,
Cards prepared to win.

Memphis, Minos, Minus,
Just another rhyme,
When you drop that dime,
Kidding or not!

Won that space & time
Destructive by force,
Concrete with desire,
Comes with fire!

Broken into pieces
There is no need.
For you to fuss or kid!
Time has gone, like a meteorite!

To Jean Jones the consecrated poet of the “dark angel of death” from the far-land of Indonesia.

I wrote and dedicated this poem “Meteorite” because as I come to understand your beautiful world of literature and poetry, I also discover myself within your poems, writing. You have been an inspiration for me, something that gives me great knowledge, experiences and choices to be made in the future. With much admiration for your work, Sebastian.
