Something Came Up

Soft hum gets louder seems like a strange sound
Then in the clearing you see a spacecraft
Fear of being spotted makes the heart pound
While floating down a river on a raft

As quietly as you can, row to the bank
Taking cover behind a group of trees
For the first few minutes, your mind turns blank
Slowly crawl closer and watch on your knees

Small group of aliens use mind control
To march selected humans, up a ramp
Rest of visitors return from patrol
Almost ready to leave, so they break camp

After they part, cut your vacation short
Something came up, told owners of resort
