moon, standing gleaming
silver over an ancient planet,
guard's eye in the sky

Welcome to the new
hope to replace the old
one, a new species that
clings to shadow corners

And welcome to the new
world, a lot like the old one,
sure, I can see that too,
but it's a new story, retold.
