The Reapers are Angels
by Jean Jones
Hamlet:
What a piece of work is a man, how noble in reason, how
infinite in faculties, in form and moving how express and
admirable, in action how like an angel, in apprehension how like
a god! the beauty of the world, the paragon of animalsóand yet,
to me, what is this quintessence of dust?
Who are the good seeds and who are the weeds
and who is the enemy who sows them?
What is the harvest and who are the harvesters?
Who will weep and gnash their teeth?
In one version of the end of the world, the world is infested with zombies.
In another, it is the end of the age, and the reapers are angels.
Are they both the same? Are the reapers zombies and angels at the same time?
When is the end of the age? At the zombie apocalypse?
One thing for sure: When the dead come back to life, it is the apocalypse, literally and figuratively.
I want to know who the angels are.
In 'Prophecy', the Angel Gabriel wants to destroy mankind.
In 'Constantine', the Angel Gabriel wants the son of the Devil to destroy most of mankind.
In some sources I have read that "the Angel of the Lord" can mean God the Father, or possibly God the Son.
What separates men from angels? What is man?
Who are the good seeds and who are the weeds
and who is the enemy who sows them?
What is the harvest and who are the harvesters?
Who will weep and gnash their teeth?
