From On The Moon
by Denny E Marshall
Ship sails towards the closest place
Cratered satellite out in space
The craft touches down around high noon
To view the Earth from on the moon
A sight only a few men know
To witness the distinguished glow
The colors of a huge cocoon
To view the Earth from on the moon
Walking weightless, strange and unknown
Still blessed with all the wonders shown
Looking up at a blue balloon
To view the Earth from on the moon
