Dry planet covered
With massive dunes
Like giant waves
In a motionless hurricane
Stretching across the horizon
Only blocked by curvature
When the winds kick in
The motion is relentless
Like a shape shifter
Constantly alternating forms
The light colored sand
Flows like slow liquid
Like blowing satin sheets
Strung on a clothesline
The hot sun beat down
Heat rising like warriors
Adding blurred activity
In this waterless sea
In snow blindness
Mirages come to life
