Earth Cavern
by Robin B. Lipinski
Sleeping creature, you dream in a make-believe world.
Walking in a daze you spend your 'days' in pursuit of dreams you forgot
Prone and sweating, for your labor brings you, yes you - answers?
Sex seems real, as real as the stars, planets, even what you call, the moon
Like a flaming comet, the emotion is over, returning to the unseen, the coldness of satisfaction
Pain/Joy, Yin/Yang, Good/Evil, and time.
So, what are you?
Walking in your daze,
Saying, "I'm alive…"?
Are you?
By the hand of the Maker, pulling the strings
To me, you're nothing but what I make of you, much like a bat living in a cave.
The end of delusion, now to enter my world…
