Being Human

by Vaibhav Mukim

As they stood there,
In the alien core,
Who didn't care,
Of decency or gore.

"Prove to me human,
That you are,
Or we'll have some fun,
And throw you in the tar."

Tom stayed his hand,
"Look I didn't,
It's quite bland,
Thee I kid not.

But the lord laughed,
And clapped his hands,
"See how I'm staffed!
We'll bury you in the sands."

So Harry stood up,
And bent his thumb,
"I know that I sup,
I ain't dumb!"

But a Crub poked,
His back so hard,
That Harry stoked,
And threw down his card.

So Linda shouted,
"See these breasts?
Is this what you doubted?
They're attached to my chest!"

When all was grim,
Percy got angry,
And lost his trim,
And struck a tree.

And killed a spider,
Who looked in surprise,
At the person unkinder,
Who did for no prize.

But the court did stare,
And then freed the four,
For they did care,
To know this race more.
