What the Angel of Death was reading regarding the Middle East

Reading "The Pulse of the Middle East," the Angel of Death noticed

"While very few jihadists have returned home, the years since the start of the Syrian revolution saw a rise in the number of fighters, who now total around 5,000 Tunisians, joining… with the number of dead among them estimated to be around 2,000."

She finished reading with a smile. She started visiting the clerics, and recruiters of this latest "holy war," and whispered into their ear: "Decadence, decadence, decadence! The youth are wasted in decadence while the cause of Allah lies wasted! More are needed! No hesitation, no wasted thoughts and actions! Allah needs total obedience! 'Til death! 'Til death!"

The recruiters nodded in agreement, their eyes focused on the new task the Angel had given them, as she wrapped the chador tight around her bone white face, held tightly by her bone white hands.

"An angel's work is never done," she smiled to herself, her smile widening to the bone, as she walked back and forth across that old, familiar land, where she has walked for centuries…
