Alien Dandruff

by Robin B. Lipinski

brushing out the daily detris of daily existence
stroke by stroke
flake by flake; garbage for what no longer needs it, food for other life.

first contact was a spectacular moment
the President was there dressed in finest splendor;
women, men: royalty; rich: finely groomed; clean and ready for another world.

weeks became years became time for the handshake
aliens...
can you imagine this moment?
I was there and can tell you people were excited...until they started to die.

scientists on both sides had discovered through science that both sides were and are compatible - no problems.
Yet people/humans, died by the thousands, it left the aliens and humans to scratch their heads wondering, why?

brushing out the daily detris of existence
stroke by stroke
flake by flake
garbage for what one no longer needs it, food for other life...
and death when mixed with other garbage.
