A Dream of Saturn
by John M. Marshall
Goodnight, Martha Heater;
the Silence is coming soon.
Face the music.
Coming through a door;
flying like a feather in a wind; flashing sky: love is.
Speak the sound the rain makes.
Emptying a shell into the air;
blowing the clouds about with a sigh; flashing sea: life is.
Ascending the ladder to Saturn
a beacon's light goes to sleep;
leaping from its heart
a dream.
