In the Year 4000
by John Grey
Eaten by a bog monster,
sucked up by an Uruvian vacuum planet,
blasted by an atom neutralizer,
boiled alive in a Xyvian
thermo-nuclear swimming pool:

five Altairian years ago
and have driven up the cost
of intergalactic insurance
