The Lovers

And the winds howl
in the desolate land;
and he awaits,
the skies and sea remotely awaken.
And through nature
wonders proclaim the glory of the name,
continuance and possibility,
denoting.
And the fire glows,
yellow flame, in between
and the lovers awaken
for they are awaiting.
And when love bestowed,
received and told,
the fire will still be
warming.
And love awaited,
is a remote
calling,
being answered
