Teleportation

by Wishbone

Tune: The Beatles – Eleanor Rigby

Aaaargh – Look at all the bits and pieces
Aaaargh – Look at all the bits and pieces

Teleportation
Isn’t as accurate as they would want you to think…
Don’t even blink!
’Cause if you’re moving
Just when the platform is trying to send you away
You might go astray.

All the bits and pieces,
Where do they all come from?
All the bits and pieces,
Where do they all belong?

Doctor McKenzie
Was in the mood to go out and sit down with a drink.
Where do you think?
Planet called Bethdish,
A bar where he knew he could go and then do as he pleased,
But then he sneezed!

All the bits and pieces,
Where do they all come from?
All the bits and pieces,
Where do they all belong?

Aaaargh – Look at all the bits and pieces!
Aaaargh – Look at all the bits and pieces!

So if you’re planning
To be a traveller and see the world with your eyes
Take my advice:
Travel by spaceship
Or else your left eye may see a magnificent sight
But not your right!

All the bits and pieces,
Where do they all come from?
All the bits and pieces,
Where do they all belong?

Wishbone, the not-quite-so-brave-as-Sir-Lancelot, describes himself thusly: Wishbone is 24 years old and lives in Denmark. He has recently completed his education as a datamatician (software developer). He lives in a one-room apartment with his computer, which occupies most of his time in one way or another. He has begun 6 or 7 novels, none of which have reached beyond the "chapter and a half" stage, so now he tries his hand at short stories instead. He writes a lot of poetry and songs, and occasionally fiddles with raytracing a bit. Oh, and he reads science fiction by the truckload.
