Nothing Works Unless You Do
by Christopher T. Dabrowski
Translated from Polish by Julia Mraczny
The horror began while I was still on vacation - two days before the end, I dreamed about Monday and going to the detested job.
I had another dream the next night. I had the nagging thought that every Monday is followed by another, only they call it Tuesday.
My sadist boss loves Rihanna and likes to call out:
"Work, work, work!"
I returned, and at the thought of Monday, my stomach ached.
Another year passed, and my stomach aches again - as of Monday, AI will take my position, and I will join the unemployed. The job market is a massacre.
