Struggling With Addiction
by Christopher T. Dabrowski
Translated from Polish by Julia Mraczny
Adam experienced severe anxiety. He was missing…
His gaze was distracted, hands and voice trembling
He couldn't find a place for himself. Everywhere felt wrong.
Finally, he couldn't stand it and moved towards 'that door'.
He jerked it once and then again — it did not even budge.
He knew this was how it was supposed to be, but he couldn't accept it, so he began to pound on it with his fists.
Naturally, it did nothing but bruised his knuckles.
Now he regretted his decision…
The blocker worked perfectly. Adam would be cut off from any internet-enabled equipment for five more hours.
