by Christopher T. Dabrowski
Translated from Polish by Julia Mraczny
"You know, I'm still your husband by law, and you've committed bigamy. Needless to say, it's still punishable."
She knows I'm right - after all, 'till death do you part' nowadays means more - anyone can buy a possession subscription and possess an android.
She never asked me what I was planning. She just got married again and had kids.
"But relax, I won't do it"
I hand her the divorce papers. She signs them immediately with a trembling hand.
"I'm happy for you" I say in farewell.
I'm happy too - I'll go back to Sue and propose to her.
