The end of the World

by Christopher T. Dabrowski

Translated from Polish by Magda Woźniak

Waves appeared, several meters tall, reaching the sky. Swept everything that was in their way, villages, towns, cities, even the ones situated highest. There was no help for anyone. The apocalypse. The extraterrestrial arrived punctually – 21.XII.2012. Yes, it is the end of the hitherto existing world, but also the beginning of the new one. Earthmen will be taken to the Cosmic Union. They will become the part of the great cosmic family, though, now they do not know it, poor fellows.

To celebrate this historical moment, the aliens decided, according to their forecasts given thousand years ago, to give a show of their technology. They mounted to Earthmen a special show in 8D technique with the nice title “The end of the world”. It is obvious that all will survive. Except the ones with weak hearts. Well, natural selection.
