Unexpected Donation

By Denny E. Marshall

Brett sits down on the chair. Soon the blood drips into the bag. This is his second blood donation.

Abruptly the building shakes from an explosion, causing no real damage. The source of the blast is a truck passing by on its way from Maryland heading to a government facility in Virginia. The flammable contents of the tanker a secret chemical developed jointly by the pentagon and army, spreads over the whole city. The chemical did not kill you. You can see and hear everything but cannot talk or move at all. After losing too much blood, Brett slips away.
