Babylon 5 Station News - March 1997
by Denise Chochrek
Welcome to the ongoing gathering of Babylon 5 fans on the
Aphelion. In the months ahead I hope to expand this area, but I will
need your help. Let me know what you like or dislike, what is missing,
and what you always wanted to know. Together I'm sure we will make this
a great place to visit.

The SFX Readers Choice Awards came out and Babylon 5 did very well.
They were named the Best SF/Fantasy Show of 1996; Best Individual
Episodes went to (1) Z'ha'dum, (2) Severed Dreams, (3) War Without End,
(5) Shadow Dancing. In the Best SF/Fantasy Actor first place went to
Andreas Katsulas (G'Kar) and second place to Bruce Boxleitner
(Sheridan). Mira Furlan (Delenn) came in second place in the Actress
category and Claudia Christian (Ivanova) came in third.
If you run into Screwball or BB in one of the many B5 Internet
sites, you may be talking to Jerry Doyle or Bruce Boxleitner,
respectively.
Did you know that Hubble images are used on the show. The
images are digitized and then enhanced into 3D.
The February '97 issue of Sci Fi Entertainment has a behind
the scenes look at Babylon 5. Haven't seen it yet, but I hear it is
good.
Found some trivia on the net:
Bruce Boxleitner & Melissa Gilbert have one son, Michael. Bruce
also has two boys from a previous marriage.
Peter Juraski and his wife recently had a child.
Bill Mummy is married and has 2 sons.
Mira Furlan is married.
Stephen Furst is married and has children.
Jason Carter is married and has 3 children.
Michael O'Hare has a son.
So does Patricia Tallman.
