Black Hole Conundrum

by Kenneth Vincent Walker

In crossing the Event Horizon
Time slows to a crawl; yet it
Doesn't stop, light is partially
Compressed, also extruded to
The point of no return wherein

Spaghettification induced by
Tidal forces ripping one apart
Swallowed up in dark matter.

For conventional wisdom is
No more; there is no way in
Surviving this conundrum as
Reality collapses, lapses, and
Implodes amongst the stars

Sparking within the heavens.

Kenneth Vincent Walker is a "New Formalist" poet, spoken word artist, performer and author of Borderline Absurd (An Exercise in Rhyme and Reason), published by Poem Sugar Press/ Community Arts Ink, 2015, and available on Amazon. Also he is published in numerous online magazines, journals and blogs.

Kenneth has been labeled a "wordsmith" and has read, recited and performed his eloquent and eclectic brand of poetry reminiscent of the Golden Age and the Romantic Era with a Beatnik to modern sensibility and twist at coffeehouses, bookstores and outdoor festivals throughout the Mid-Atlantic region of the United States.

Lastly, Kenneth's voice may be heard on Spotify in his short yet chilling podcasts of 'Noir Poetry' set to music exhibiting a darker side highly influenced by The Twilight Zone, Alfred Hitchcock and the writings of the immortal Edgar Allan Poe.
