Video Game

The Japanese
are planning to zap
all that space junk up there
in low Earth orbit, with
ground-based lasers,
destroying decades
of abandoned, obsolete,
expensive, man-made hardware,
a danger to other satellites
and astronauts alike,
their engineers if
successful, racking up
real time cosmic player points
at the mall of futurity, with
fireworks galore.
