The Ufologist Smokes His Pipe

Jet contrail
illuminated by the setting sun,
silver point of origin presumably
some jumbo jet,
the contrail breaking apart furthest away
from its source,
like puffs of smoke from the pipe
in his hand,
his questing mind
formulating new alien scenarios.
