Earthbound

We see
them
in twilight

questioning
our eyes

our minds
filled
with this world

we cannot believe
such flying orbs
floating and zipping
through the infinite dark

shaking
our heads
clearing our thoughts

in our rounded heads
stuck to earthbound bodies

why do we shy
away into oblivion?
