General impressions of the novel:
A gripping page-turner. Mystical, complex, and entertaining on several levels at the same time.
Specifics:
This one defies summing up. It has to be read to be believed. There are so many plot threads and elements that it would be a disservice for me to try and list them briefly here. This is a wonderful work, highly imaginative, and philosophicly challenging. JL is a great writer. His characters come to life and leap from the page.
This is one of the best novels that I've ever been sent to review. The fact that it by an Aphelion writer makes it doubly sweet a treat. I can recommend this one most highly. I enjoyed every page of it.
